Compensation : $25/hr

JOB SUMMARY

The CAD Drafter/Programmer will be responsible for drafting and making corrections to new and existing stone countertop projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare project layouts using design tools and CAD software.
• Complete project proposals including quotes and layouts.
• Work with measure agents to achieve accurate layout of projects.
• Generate CNC programs from the CAD / Alpha CAM software.
• Ensure the correct program and material is loaded.
• Coordinate with installation and support staff to ensure timely fulfillment of projects.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues.
• Monitor, document, and control any changes made to programs.
• Maintain and make updates to software program.
• Ensure accuracy of cuts to prevent waste and produce quality product.
• Coordinate equipment repair as needed.
• Track and update status of projects.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with CAD drafting, CNC programming, or manufacturing design preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
