About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical - Surgical Duration: 20 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active Compact License required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: Prior travel experience required, Charge experience preferred Description: Replacing an existing team member. Must be flexible to work the schedule needs of the unit. Position is for a Medical - Surgical Registered Nurse for a 12-hour Night Shift. Charge Nurse responsibilities are required, and appropriate pay differential and training will be provided. Must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's Day). Assignments typically end on Saturday, with a requirement of 2-3 weekends per month based on unit need. Limited time off requests are accepted. The unit may cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census needs. All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support when interacting with students and new hires.
