Shift/Schedule Overtime Evening shift Day shift Monday to Friday Holidays Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Radiographic Imaging: Position patients correctly to obtain the required images and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. Review and evaluate radiographic images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and precise imaging results. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure. Use shielding devices and protective equipment appropriately during imaging procedures. Interact with patients in a caring and professional manner, explaining procedures and answering any questions or concerns they may have. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during imaging procedures. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of radiographic equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain patient confidentiality. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and accurate interpretation of imaging results. Foster a collaborative and patient-centered care environment. Qualifications Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Certification from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Current and valid licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist in the state where Drakos Dynamics operates. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification is advantageous. Proven experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and producing high-quality images. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific imaging protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff. Empathy and a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery. Understanding of radiation safety guidelines and best practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
