Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Physiatrist (PM&R), you will join the physician-led team at Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA. As the sole practice in the area treating General Rehabilitation patients, you will play a vital role in our patient‑centered organization, offering both office and hospital‑based care. You will manage a mixed practice, overseeing a 20-bed, CARF-certified Acute Rehabilitation Unit and providing a bustling consult service. You'll also have opportunities to precept advanced practice providers and future residents, contributing to the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals. A balanced schedule awaits, featuring a 1:5 hospital call rotation and a minimum of one week of inpatient service per month. To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician eager to lead the only general rehabilitation practice in the area.
