Our community lifts individuals, facilitates learning, and is creating a collective that is capable of things we cannot imagine.Role Summary:The Facilities Maintenance Tech position supports the Senior Facilities Manager & Community Directors at our Kiln Meridian & Downtown Boise Locations in executing the upkeep and general maintenance of the facility, coordinate with vendors when needed, aids staff by repairing reported issues, installing, and moving furniture, maintaining appliances, and assisting our team to ensure a pleasing atmosphere for the coworking community. Our Meridian Location is located at 1120 S Rackham Way and our Downtown Boise Location is on N 4th and W Idaho. This role will work 40 hours per week. We strive to maintain scheduling flexibility, while ensuring that the majority of each shift (approximately 75%) overlaps with standard business hours to support collaboration with the community team.Major Responsibilities:Facilities Maintenance:Patching and painting drywallPaint touch-upsFixing furnitureFixing or installing appliancesMoving office panelsMoving office desksHanging artFixing Door LocksMoving furnitureScheduled Preventative Maintenance ie. HVAC Filters, water filtersMaintain inventory of stored itemsSchedule and manage temp staff, contractors, and vendorsManage relationships and negotiate preferred pricing/bidsCoordinate approved capital projects as directed by the Community Director/Build and Procurement TeamEnsure compliance with all warranties and state/federal requirementsIdeal Experience and Skills:Finish Carpentry or Painting experience is preferredHandy Man Experience is preferred.Reliable Consistent Transportation is a Must.
