QC Chemist

QC Chemist Location : Howell, NJ Type : Full-Time | Onsite Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 Why This Role This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on QC Chemist to join a growing, well‑established nutraceutical manufacturing environment where quality and compliance truly matter. What You’ll Be Doing Perform analytical testing on raw materials and finished products using established procedures Execute testing techniques including HPTLC, UV‑Vis, FTIR, and wet chemistry Operate, maintain, and verify laboratory equipment Support Out of Specification (OOS) and Awaiting Disposition investigations, including root‑cause analysis Assist with method development and validation (as needed) Prepare and review documentation including Certificates of Analysis (COAs) Manage sample receipt, tracking, and archival Maintain laboratory inventory, safety, and documentation standards Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to support production timelines What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline 2+ years of experience in a nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or regulated laboratory Hands‑on experience with HPTLC strongly preferred Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and ISO/IEC 17025 standards Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment What Makes This Role Stand Out Stable, year‑round work in a growing industry Clear exposure to regulated QC operations, not just routine testing Collaborative lab environment with experienced leadership Early Friday schedule and consistent weekday hours Opportunity to deepen technical skills and advance within Quality MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
