Position Overview and QualificationsIn your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) , you will be instrumental in providing safe, high-quality care that prioritizes patients. Your clinical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and compassionate demeanor will help create healing environments and support a team dedicated to enhancing human life.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering targeted nursing care for patients with intricate needs by administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with procedures such as cardiac monitoring or respiratory support.
- Monitoring patients closely for subtle changes in their condition, including variations in heart rhythm, oxygen saturation, or neurological indicators, and promptly escalating concerns to facilitate early intervention.
- Documenting timely and precise updates to assist the care team in coordinating effectively within a high-acuity setting.
- Helping patients and their families comprehend complex medical conditions and recovery processes with clarity and reassurance.
- Collaborating closely with RNs, healthcare providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through the transition from intensive care to recovery.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
- Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) certification.
- Completion of an Associate Degree, Certificate, or graduation from a Vocational School.
