The Accounting Controller will oversee accounting operations for a single-entity business, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and leading a small accounting team. This role will focus on US GAAP financial reporting, process improvement, accurate general ledger management, month-end close, internal controls, and accounts payable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate, timely records.
- Lead the month-end close process.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Oversee accounts payable operations.
- Lead and support the small accounting team.
- Drive accounting process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounting controllership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and internal controls.
- Leadership experience.
