Department Manager

We are looking for a Department Manager to lead operations at a McDonald’s Corporate owned restaurant. The position is offered by the independent franchisee that owns and operates the restaurant. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operation of the restaurant, ensuring a fast, accurate and friendly customer experience. Lead shifts each week and supervise crew and managers to meet service standards. Oversee assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks and reporting results to senior management. Guest Service Department Manager Ensure crew and managers provide an outstanding customer experience. Coordinate sales promotions and verify proper execution. Train service staff on standard service procedures. Maintain organization of Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas for optimal service flow. Kitchen Department Manager Guarantee quality and timely food delivery to customers. Monitor food safety standards and control food costs. Train kitchen staff in production procedures and introduce new menu items. People Department Manager Hire, train and schedule qualified crew to meet restaurant sales and profitability goals. Support crew development and recognize achievements to maintain motivation. Qualifications Previous managerial experience, preferably in restaurant, retail or hospitality. Must be 18 years or older. Positive team player with flexible schedule. Passion for fast‑paced environments and excellent customer service.
