Job Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
Conducting patient evaluations, executing standard respiratory care procedures and protocols, performing critical care tasks in adult settings, analyzing blood gases, overseeing the upkeep and management of all equipment, and providing education to patients.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in respiratory care is necessary, or successful completion of a department-specific orientation that includes validation of skills and competencies relevant to this role.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold a license from the State of Georgia through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required. The candidate must be actively engaged in practice and maintain all necessary competencies.
