CGP: Tax Assistant

Our Client is currently seeking a Tax Assistant for a temporary assignment, potentially extending beyond 1 month due to ongoing growth. This role offers a significant opportunity for individuals with a background in Tax to contribute to future projects and potentially secure a direct hire position in the future. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $30 to $35 per hour.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax notices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with the internal Tax team to gather and compile necessary documentation and information.
• Engage with the IRS or relevant tax jurisdictions to resolve inquiries and fulfill their requests efficiently.

Candidate Profile:

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of effectively discussing and explaining issues and solutions.
• A foundational understanding or experience in Tax is advantageous but not a prerequisite for this role.
