Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: RN and/or CST Must-Have: Candidates must possess skills in the following areas: - Operating Room experience - Proficiency in nursing practices Description: The unit consists of nine beds with a total staffing of 22.41. The staff includes 16 full-time and 1 part-time nurses on day shift. Additionally, there are 2 pending RN residents and 5 PRN team members, along with one OR analyst. There is no overnight staff on the night shift. Patient ratios in the operating room are 1:1. Equipment utilized on the unit includes Brain Lab, Davinci, and Microscope. Electronic Medical Records are managed through Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedic surgeries. The ideal candidate will be motivated and detail-oriented. Floating areas may include various sections of the operating room. Dress code requires hospital scrubs. Weekend call shifts are mandatory based on unit needs. Weekend call is from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekday call shifts run from 3 PM to 7 AM. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.
