If you enjoy staying active, working with a great team, and taking pride in a job well done, we'd love to meet you!Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hourApply today to learn more as we are looking to hire ASAP!General Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Associate will be involved in daily warehouse operations and responsible for pulling and packaging units for outgoing shipments, affixing shipping labels on packed boxes, staging merchandise for outgoing shipments, checking invoices to ensure tools and supplies are correct pulled and packaged, and other related duties as assigned. S/he will work closely with all departments, including counter, shipping, receiving, drivers, sales, and management.Essential Functions/Job ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the receiving and shipping of all merchandiseAssist warehouse manager/supervisor personnel in performing tasks, sort and place merchandise in proper stock areasMaintain the shipping areas in neat and orderly conditions; make sure that all equipment is kept in safe and efficient locationsAssist in loading and unloading merchandise on delivery trucksFollow safety policies and procedures in reporting accidents in accordance with company policyKeep managers/supervisors informed of shortages, overloads, damages merchandise, and inventory controlAssumes the responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work locations, exercise and promote safe behaviors and showing unyielding support of programs, rules, and policies regarding safetyFollow proper procedures in reporting accidents in accordance with company policyAlways remain courteous and service-minded while dealing with other employees and customersMaintain a neat appearance in accordance with company dress code policyMaintains punctuality and regular and reliable attendanceCollaborate and communicate effectively with other team membersProtect and maintain confidentiality of company trade secrets and other confidential or proprietary information including without limitation, operations methods, customer information, and sales dataComplete projects and assignments on timeAttend department meetings and training as requestedComplete other related duties assigned by supervisor and/or department managementRequired Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesMust be physically able to lift up to 50lbs in order to load packagesMust be a dependable worker with the ability to carry out a series of work instructions without constant supervisionMust be proficient with computer skillsBe dependable and report to work on a timely mannerAbility to create a positive and produce working relationship with employees and customersWork independently using effective problem solving skillsMay be required to work some Saturdays for inventoryOperate a forklift and manliftSuperior organizational and multitasking abilityCommitment to accuracyExcellent attention to detail and time management skillsProfessionalism with respect to time management and meeting deadlinesAble to manage multiple, complex, on-going tasks and projectsPhysical RequirementsContinuous standing, lifting, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentImportant NotesProfessional Contractor Supply is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-Free workplace.
