Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Oncology night shift position requiring a KS or compact license and recent specialty experience.

Details

• Position is in a hospital setting on a combined oncology and general surgery unit
• Works with oncology patients as well as general surgery cases
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification, not expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
• Chemo certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in oncology
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg or Oncology nursing
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum of one professional reference required; more may be needed depending on state

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing nursing care to oncology and general surgery patients
• Expected to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided upon hire
• Must be prepared to submit complete professional documentation including license verification and certifications
