Discovery Database Administrator (DBA) Employment Type: Full-Time, Executive-Level Department: Legal CGS is seeking a dedicated Discovery Database Administrator to join a fast-paced team supporting legal accounts. The role involves managing and supporting various database systems, primarily Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, including security setup, database design, maintenance, and migration to cloud infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: Managing SQL Server databases, optimizing performance, and applying best practices. Creating and maintaining databases in clustered server environments, designing data models. Implementing data lake, data warehouse, and data mart architectures, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems. Ensuring database redundancy, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities. Facilitating system migration to cloud infrastructure and upgrading SQL Server versions. Developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and managing reporting servers.
