Responsibilities Assess and monitor physical, emotional, psychological needs of patients Create hospice care plans that align with patient wishes and goals Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions Provide pain and symptom management Educate and support the patient's family and caregiversCollaborate with interdisciplinary team Maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in the state of operation One year of nursing experience required; three or more years preferred Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order About Allay Hospice At Allay Hospice, our primary ambition is to bring first-class care to the warmest and most serene environment possible: home.
