Position
As a quality control manager you will develop, implement, and manage a Quality Management System (QMS) to identify non-conforming products and processes, identify the root cause, and implement long-term corrective actions with the assistance of quality control technicians under your supervision.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Quality Control team; ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues, and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity.
• Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Performs root cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify and institute effective corrective actions.
• Serves as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization and drive improvements to the process.
• Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring process effectiveness and to assure process capability
• Develop, implement, and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspections.

Qualification

• Strong background in the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in root-cause analysis.
• Experience using Office products aligning with the review of inspection data, generation of metrics, etc.
• Experience in leadership roles, preferred.
• Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering or related industrial field.
  5+ years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer (10+ if associates degree)
