Job Summary

Are you passionate about providing care and assistance to seniors and vulnerable adults in their home setting? As a Home Care Aide (HCA) with Right at Home Torrance, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As a part of our dedicated care team, you will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services designed to promote independence and well-being.

About the Role

As a Home Care Aide (HCA) with Right at Home Torrance, your responsibilities will include:

Providing companionship and social support to our clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, games, and outings
Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services as needed
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients
Communicating effectively with clients, families, and care staff to ensure seamless care coordination
Home Care Aide (HCA) responsibilities may also include bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as managing medical conditions and medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse

Requirements

Home Care Aide (HCA) certification or willingness to obtain
Home Care Aide (HCA) training or experience in caregiving
Ability to lift, bend, and move safely while providing care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
