Room Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and meet Marriott brand standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing excellent service and creating a welcoming experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest room supplies
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing items
• Report any damages, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and equipment
• Follow proper procedures for handling guest belongings and lost & found items
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests when responding to requests
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Complete assigned rooms within established productivity standards
• Support other areas of the Housekeeping Department, including public areas, laundry, linen room, and other assigned tasks when needed

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push/pull for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs. as needed
• Must have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
