Job Title

Surgical Technician First Assist – Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in the operating room in a first assist capacity
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Handle and pass surgical instruments and supplies to the surgical team as directed
• Support patient positioning, draping, and preparation prior to procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Surgical Technologist certification or licensure as required
• First Assist certification or demonstrated first assist experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a surgical technician role within an operating room setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a travel assignment or fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
