Emergency Medicine Physician - Medical Toxicologist

About JPS The Department of Emergency Medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Medical Toxicologist to join their education team. The program at JPS was established in 2011 as a fully accredited three-year program with 15 residents per class. Seeing over 130,000 patient visits per year, the county hospital population provides incredible learning opportunities in both volume and pathology. The department supports fellowships in ultrasound, administration and education. Established in 1906, JPS has devoted more than 100 years to educating physicians while caring for the residents of Tarrant County as the area’s tax-supported hospital district. Responsibilities Join the education team within the Emergency Department. Contribute to patient care, research, and education. Develop the toxicology service. Qualifications BC/BE (ABEM/ABOEM) in Emergency Medicine. Fellowship trained in Medical Toxicology, BC/BE for subspecialty certification in Medical Toxicology.
