Recreation Specialist - Hours 4/10

Job Description Our mission is to empower America's at-risk youth by providing the career training and life skills needed to build and sustain a brighter future. Why just go to work everyday? Why not have fun while working? Responsibilities You would be directing students in leisure-time recreation activities . (Etc. Games, Sports, Field Trips and Off Site Activities.) Assist in organization of the recreational programs and trips and encourage students' participation. Orders and issues materials, supplies, films, and game equipment upon Supervisor's review and approval Develops and operates weekly game activities Assists in center sponsored trips and events Coaches teams engaged in on and off center activities Assists students in drama and other creative activities Must be able to drive company vehicles and qualify for company sponsored insurance by holding a Maine Driver's License. Qualifications Minimum: One-year experience working with youth or Associates degree. Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Must obtain and maintain lifeguard certification. Experience as a coach, arts & crafts, performing arts. Shift Schedule 4 -10 hour shift Sun thru Wed 12PM to 11PM - Thu, Fri & Sat Off Job Type Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr ServingSchools
