Port View Preparatory is a nonpublic ABA-focused educational program committed to serving students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide individualized compassionate and evidence-based education and therapeutic support that empowers students to reach their fullest Port View Preparatory every team member plays a vital role in creating nurturing structured learning environments where students are supported academically socially and are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our collaborative school-based team. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist the COTA will help implement meaningful interventions that support student independence and access to Include:Supportive collaborative team environmentOpportunities for professional growth in a school settingCompetitive benefits including PTO Medical Dental Vision and Life InsuranceAs a key member of our educational support team you will:Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to implement individualized student-centered occupational therapy students IEP goals through classroom-based accommodations and strategies aligned with OT with teachers and instructional staff to ensure consistent carryover of therapeutic strategies across the school collaboratively with educators families behavior specialists and related service providers to support student adapt and modify materials to increase student engagement independence and functional skill progress monitoring documentation and reporting in coordination with your supervising individual group and consultative services across classroom and school assigned caseload responsibilities in alignment with program and departmental note t

Requirements / Qualifications

Proof of license or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)14 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (school-based or nonpublic school experience preferred)A mission-driven mindset and genuine passion for supporting students with special needsStrong collaboration communication and organizational skills
