The right RN will have at least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements: Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care to pediatric patients Maintain privacy and confidentiality in nurse/child relationships Participate in activities to manage a child’s pain Evaluate a child for signs and symptoms of abuse Serve as a child advocate Qualifications & Requirements BLS, PALS, CPI, TNCC 2 Years of relevant experience Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Pediatric ER Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. Moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
