Online Adjunct Professor - Hospitality Management

To facilitate an engaging virtual learning environment, the part-time Online Adjunct Professor - Hospitality Management will prepare and deliver course content, provide student support, and participate in departmental activities while working remotely. Key responsibilities Prepare and manage course materials in Blackboard, ensuring timely updates and adherence to quality standards Provide approximately 12-15 hours of instruction weekly, including facilitating discussions and hosting virtual office hours Monitor student progress and engagement using Blackboard's Retention Center, providing feedback and support to at-risk students Required qualifications Master's degree in Travel and Tourism or MBA with a concentration in Travel and Tourism Experience in online education and familiarity with distance learning best practices Ability to demonstrate contemporary knowledge in the field of Hospitality Management Strong commitment to student engagement and academic support Proven ability to utilize active learning strategies and authentic assessments
