TRAVEL LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (TRAVEL LPN) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract opportunity in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting. The Travel LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

This travel assignment offers guaranteed hours, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work in a supportive healthcare environment focused on quality resident care.

SHIFT DETAILS

Shift Time: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Meal Break: 30 Minutes
12.5-Hour Night Shift

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $36.33 - $42.38 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) License in good standing
Current BLS certification preferred
Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or related healthcare experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Ability to work as a travel healthcare professional

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct nursing care and treatments to residents
Administer medications and monitor resident responses
Assess resident conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Assist with development and implementation of individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff
Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans and care goals
Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Competitive pay rate of $36.33 - $42.38 per hour
Night-shift assignment
10-week travel contract opportunity
State or federal identification required upon arrival
Photo badge must be worn at all times
COVID-19 vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption may be required in accordance with applicable regulations
