Job Description Security Officer Guest Services Desk – INDIANAPOLIS, IN As a Front Desk Officer at a leading financial institution, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Financial Institutions, providing the welcoming first point of contact, managing access, supporting badge procedures, and responding to security‑related concerns with professionalism and care. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service at the front desk by following site‑specific policies, assisting visitors, and carrying out security‑related procedures appropriate to a financial services location. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign‑in processes, and communicating access protocols to staff, guests, and/or vendors. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security‑related concerns. Answer phones, greet arriving individuals, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and consistent application of post procedures. Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives as needed. Minimum Requirements CPR and First Aid knowledge is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation and drug screen will be conducted as conditions of employment. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
