What you'll do

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Clean and maintain private residences, rental properties, public areas, locker rooms, and clubhouse facilities to established standards

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, and changing linens

• Move throughout the property frequently to clean multiple buildings, common areas, restrooms, and locker rooms

• Bend, stoop, reach, stretch, and lift repeatedly while performing tasks such as dusting, wiping surfaces, or cleaning floors
• Carry linens, cleaning supplies, and other materials to and from various areas across the community

• Make beds and change linens using repetitive upper-body movements

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, windows, and high-touch surfaces, often requiring extended periods of standing and movement

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum interior spaces, including hard-to-reach or confined areas

• Lift and empty trash bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas

• Wash, dry, fold, and restock laundry items as needed, including carrying loads to and from laundry areas

• Climb stairs or walk long distances across property grounds as part of daily cleaning routines

• Identify and report any safety concerns, maintenance issues, or supply needs to supervisors

• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the use of cleaning products and equipment

• Maintain a steady and efficient pace to complete assignments within expected timeframes

• Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods

• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to contribute to a high-quality environment for residents and guests

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION:


High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.


APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.

Soliciting gratuities from members or guests is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Gratuities include items such as cash, favors, gifts, tickets to events and other forms of non-financial compensation. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 915 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
