This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, driving financial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making to optimize profitability. This position partners closely with ownership and cross-functional leadership, taking full ownership of financial processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and long-term financial performance. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and overall financial health
• Manage accounts receivable processes and collections
• Facilitate partner/vendor payments and reconcile associated reporting
• Review and manage expenses, including reimbursable costs
• Handle month-end close activities and financial analysis
• Coordinate with external tax partners and support compliance requirements
• Track key business deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support payroll processing in partnership with a third-party provider
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
• Reconcile transaction activity, including high-volume receipt balancing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Proven ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Strong integrity, accountability, and sound judgment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions
• Strategic thinker with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
• Effective leadership and team collaboration skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred)
