Locally Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business We are seeking professional and caring Paratransit Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will transport wheelchair users and patients who require non-emergency medical transportation. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles equipped for wheelchair accessibility. Transport passengers to medical appointments, therapy, community events, and other approved destinations. Provide assistance to passengers entering and exiting vehicles, including securing wheelchairs and mobility devices. Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during trips. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections. Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions. Deliver friendly, professional, and respectful customer service at all times. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be at least 25 years of age. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Compassion, patience, and professionalism when working with individuals with disabilities and medical needs. Physical Demands: May require prolonged sitting or standing. Requires normal or corrected vision. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasionally. Involves frequent reaching, bending, pushing, stooping, and lifting when assisting passengers in and out of vehicles. Full range of body motion required. Compensation: This position starts at $15.00/hour. Flexible scheduling options. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol testing regulations (49 CFR Part 655) requires all individuals performing safety-sensitive functions to submit to drug and alcohol testing as a condition of performing such work.
