The role involves providing specialized care in wound management. A 4x10 hour shift schedule is implemented. Weekend shifts are not required. The clinician will not be on-call for this position. Local candidates are not accepted, and a 100 mile radius restriction applies. The client may cancel up to 3 shifts without any financial obligation. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours. This facility is a Magnet/Teaching Hospital with 317 total staffed beds. The charting system utilized is Epic. The candidate will be expected to work with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Skills in wound management techniques and tools are necessary. The role requires effective patient and family teaching. Candidates may float within their scope to meet facility needs as required. There are no weekend coverage requirements for this position. Compliance with background checks is mandatory, and fingerprinting may be required. Travelers must ensure that they meet all compliance deadlines prior to starting. References from previous supervisors are required. This position focuses on adult and geriatric care. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in relevant wound care procedures and assessments.
