SummaryAs a Financial Analyst working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for working with Finance departmental leaders on Division's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Assist in overseeing all financial functions. Will assist in creating functional strategies and specific objectives for the departments and develop budgets/policies/ procedures to support the functional infrastructure.Job DetailsWe trust that as a Financial Analyst you will: (responsibilities)Prepare annual and quarterly budgets, collect, consolidate, and validate budget information from multiple cost centersWork with the land department for preparation, analysis and validation of proformas on new community opportunitiesPrepare monthly Management Accounts, which include cash flow and profit forecast for submission to Regional and Corporate ManagementAssist in preparation of monthly consolidated financial resultsPrepare various monthly/quarterly analytical reports for management and Corporate financeCollect and consolidate SBU financial dataValidate financial dataAnalyze statistical data for consistency with financial dataPerform ad hoc financial analysis and other duties as needed and/or assignedDevelop and maintain financial report formatsExtensive interaction with Region, Corporate & field to assist them with questions and proceduresYou are willing to perform other duties as assignedWhat you will need: (competencies, behaviors & attributes)AnalyticalCommunicationDetail OrientedEthics & IntegrityPrioritizationTeam WorkerAbout you:3+ years financial/accounting experience requiredExperience with investment analysis, with an understanding of Net Present Value, Return on Net Assets, and Internal Rate of Return requiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredExtensive experience with ExcelAccounting experience, preferably in the homebuilding, land development or the construction industryCredit report in good standingFLSA Status: ExemptWill have responsibilities such as:Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operationsAct as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significanceEssential Functions:Successful job applicants will be able to perform these functions.
