Breakfast Attendant

St. Cloud MN West Lodging, LLC is currently seeking and experienced Breakfast attendant to join their team!


JOB SUMMARY:

The Breakfast Attendant’s primary responsibility is to oversee the breakfast service and ensure guests have a quality dining experience by providing a clean and well-stocked breakfast area.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

1. Must have the ability to provide professional and courteous guest service.
2. Must have good time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
3. Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail.
4. Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
5. Must have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling guest situations.
6. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule as the position requires working various shifts depending on business needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assists all guests professionally and courteously.
2. Performs job duties and responsibilities in a cost-effective manner and within budgetary guidelines.
3. Sets up breakfast according to brand operational policies and standards, and in compliance with local county and/or city health department standards.
4. Responds to guest requests while ensuring food is continually replenished and presented appealingly.
5. Maintains a clean and well-organized dining and work area by completing the following tasks:
6. Clears and cleans tables and chairs, checking the floor for debris between guests.
7. Disinfects all areas where food is prepared and served
8. Maintains and cleans all dispensing machines, operating equipment, and serving utensils.
9. Organizes storage areas to ensure food quality, utilizing the “first in first out” method of food rotation.
10. Plans and prepares for the following day by checking inventory of supplies, taking action as necessary to ensure adequate quantity and quality of products for the following day.
11. Maintains a record of guest requests for breakfast items and provides this information to the general manager to ensure guest satisfaction with the breakfast program.
12. Stays current on hotel accommodations, services, and local attractions in order to effectively assist guests.
13. Understands and applies all hotel safety and security procedures as required to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
14. Keeps supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken.
15. Performs all other duties as assigned.
