Our client is looking hire a Customs Entry Writer for their growing logistics company. Ideal candidate should have experience with customs entry, however they will also consider individuals with logistics experience who are looking to learn customs entry writing. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs entries and import documentation.

• Classify imported commodities using HTS classifications and tariffs.

• Experience with ISF Filings.

• Coordinate customs clearance activities and resolve shipment issues.

• Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare ACH statements, invoicing, and CargoWise transactions.

• Provide outstanding customer service and account management.

• Collaborate with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of entry writing experience 

• Would consider entry level candidates looking to start a career in logistics, has to have strong data entry skills and be detail oriented

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Knowledge of CBP regulations, customs brokerage, HTS classification, and ISF filing.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Ability to pass TSA and criminal background requirements.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
