This part-time role offers a flexible opportunity for a Pediatric Dentist to deliver in-office surgical services in collaboration with a Dental Anesthesiologist. This position is perfect for professionals seeking dedicated surgical days with anesthesia support in a cooperative and predictable setting. Key Responsibilities: The primary focus for a Pediatric Dentist in this position involves conducting in-office surgical procedures alongside a Dental Anesthesiologist, ensuring comprehensive surgical care for young patients. Administer restorative and surgical treatments for pediatric patients under sedation. Work closely with the Dental Anesthesiologist to maintain a safe and efficient workflow. Provide care with efficiency, safety, and clinical assurance. Collaborate with office teams to guarantee compliant, patient-focused care. Our Practice Offers: DentaPro software for streamlined operations. Digital x-ray and Panorex imaging systems. Fiber-optic handpieces for enhanced precision. Collaboration with Dental Anesthesiologists on sedation cases. Specialized support staff dedicated to specialists. Annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management. A mix of state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors. Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from a CODA-accredited dental school. Completion of a CODA-accredited residency in Pediatric Dentistry. Active dental license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one). Current certifications in BLS/PALS, DEA, and other necessary credentials. Nitrous Oxide certification as mandated by state regulations.
