Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuro PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro PCU setting with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 at nights (ratio may occasionally be 1:5)
• Float divisionally as needed, including overflow areas and ED holds
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols and documentation standards using the EPIC charting system
• Participate in orientation modules as scheduled during the onboarding period
• Availability to work 2–3 holidays, which may include Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand required prior to start
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required — must be submitted with application
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Expected schedule of 84 hours biweekly; expected weekly hours of 72
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record experience strongly preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Experience in a Neuro PCU or similar stepdown/intermediate care environment
