Role Description ITERÆ looking for a highly motivated Job Captain to join our team, focusing on the technical development and execution of complex, high-density multifamily and mixed‑use projects. The Job Captain is a hybrid position, responsible for the daily management of the Revit model, the coordination of consultant drawings ( Structural , MEP , etc.), and the production of comprehensive construction document sets. This is a "player‑coach" role intended for an individual who is an expert in BIM workflows and is ready to mentor junior staff while ensuring technical excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead the production of Architectural Construction Documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and high‑level detailing for Type I and Type II construction. Serve as the primary "owner" of the Revit model, ensuring office standards are met, families are managed correctly, and the model remains efficient and well‑organized. Perform regular "clash detection" and coordination reviews, ensuring that structural and MEP systems are seamlessly integrated into the architectural set. Assist the Project Manager in researching and applying local building codes (CBC/ADA) and navigating the jurisdictional permit process. Conduct internal red‑line reviews of drawings produced by junior designers to ensure accuracy and clarity before submittals. Support the CA phase by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and maintaining the project’s technical integrity during build‑out. Required Qualifications 4–7 years of professional experience in an architecture firm, specifically with multifamily or large‑scale commercial projects. Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch). Expert‑level proficiency in Revit is mandatory. Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Rhino is highly preferred. Strong understanding of building systems, Type I/II/III construction assemblies, and the ability to draft high‑quality architectural details. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage consultants and mentor junior team members. Preferred Attributes Candidates currently on the path to licensure (NCARB record/AXP hours in progress). Experience with modular construction or "productized" architectural systems.
