About the Position

Job Opportunity – Critical Care Unit (CCU) Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Springfield, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2:1 patient ratio (occasionally 3:1 based on acuity and staffing); floating may be required

• 8-bed Critical Care Unit serving a diverse adult patient population including DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Documentation system: MedHost; Equipment: Mindray Datascope monitors
• Procedures performed on unit include bronchoscopy, CVC line placement, chest tube insertion, and bedside endoscopy procedures
• Monitor technician support available; strong team culture with many nurses maintaining 5+ years of tenure
• Community-focused environment where staff provide compassionate care to neighbors, friends, and family members
• Contract length aligns with facility needs; assignment begins summer 2026

Requirements:

• Current Tennessee RN license or compact state license
• ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications required
• Knowledge and experience with ventilators, vasoactive and sedation drips, and central venous catheter care
• Strong critical care nursing skills with ability to manage high-acuity adult patients
• Proficiency in advanced procedures including assisting with bronchoscopy, CVC placement, chest tubes, and bedside scopes
