Location New York, New York Shift Rotating; 12.5 hours both day and night flex Description Our living donor liver transplant program has grown significantly with innovative surgical techniques involving fully-robotic liver transplants. The Physician Assistant acts as the nucleus of a multi‑disciplinary team that includes transplant surgeons, hepatologists, transplant pharmacy, social work, dietitian, and psychiatry. The PA takes front‑line responsibility for screening, diagnosis and treatment of transplant and hepatobiliary surgical patients, follows those patients closely after surgery, and assumes ownership of their care. The PA runs the service in conjunction with the above disciplines and becomes an expert in management of liver transplant patients in an inpatient setting.
