A Snapshot of Your Day As a Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting procurement operations by sourcing materials and services needed to meet business and project objectives. How You'll Make An Impact Execute purchasing strategies and manage the procurement of materials and services to support operational and project requirements. Analyze requisitions, supply plans, and demand requirements to ensure timely procurement of domestic and international purchases. Develop and issue RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and quality requirements. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while resolving delivery, quality, and invoicing issues to ensure contract compliance. Conduct market research and value analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve sourcing effectiveness. Support make‑versus‑buy evaluations, alternative sourcing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; in lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED with equivalent progressive procurement experience may be considered. 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience identifying cost‑saving opportunities and evaluating market conditions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/Purchasing systems, preferably SAP. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
