Travel Rehabilitation Therapist – Robinson, Illinois American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in a rehab department, with experience across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings. Job Details Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Rotating, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: May 11, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Responsibilities Patient evaluation, treatment planning, and goal‑setting in collaboration with patients, families, and the rehab team. Provide physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings, including PT modalities such as ultrasound, NMES, and iontophoresis, and skilled techniques such as manual muscle testing and joint ROM measurements. Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and collaborate with other departments as needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, monthly notes, and discharge summaries. Participate in performance‑improvement activities and adhere to established safety procedures. Monday‑through‑Friday day shift with rotating weekend coverage. Qualifications Current Illinois Physical Therapy license (or applicable state license). Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance. BLS certification. Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively. APTA membership preferred. Proof of date‑of‑birth and SSN may be required.
