Travel L&D RN – Night Shift
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Unit: Labor and Delivery
Unit Size: 26 beds
Charting: Meditech with GE CPN

Position Overview

Join a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit supported by experienced nurses, collaborative leadership, and a recently established OB Hospitalist program. The department uses a team-nursing approach and offers self-scheduling.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of current acute-care hospital L&D RN experience
• High-risk labor and delivery experience
• Comfortable caring for antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and triage patients
• Must be able to prioritize patient safety in a fast-paced obstetric setting

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• EFM-C or current AWHONN fetal monitoring credential

Preferred Experience

• Circulating C-sections
• High-risk L&D experience
• Experience with magnesium sulfate patients
• Experience assisting with inductions and internal fetal monitoring

Patient Ratios

• High-risk labor and C-sections: 1:1
• Antepartum, PPROM, preterm labor on magnesium, and postpartum patients on magnesium: 1:2
• Postpartum magnesium patients without the baby and outpatient patients: up to 1:3
