The household enjoys a spacious home in a less densely populated area of NYC, where mobility is facilitated by either a car or local bus routes. The older sibling, an 8-year-old boy, is mostly independent with his evening routine but may require pick-up (twice a week) from his tennis program across the street.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up the 4-year-old daughter from her local school around 2:30pm each weekday (nanny can utilize their care or the bus).
• Coordinate and accompany the child to various neighborhood activities including tennis, swimming, library visits, and occasional museum trips for enrichment
• Prepare and lay out dinner for the children in the early evening
• Assist with bedtime routine for the younger child, including shower and bathroom time, aiming for a consistent bedtime around 7:30pm
• Occasionally pick up the older sibling from his tennis program across the street around 5:00-5:30pm
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's activities and needs

Requirements

• Strong references demonstrating reliability and childcare competence
