VP of Accounting

VP of Accounting $160K to $170K plus 30% bonus. Ground‑floor opportunity to build the financial infrastructure of a growing retail company and grow into the CFO role as the company scales. Responsibilities Reporting directly to the CEO and on the leadership team, the VP of Accounting will own all accounting and financial planning functions. Hands‑on accounting leader alongside a Staff Accountant: month‑end close, managing cash flow, overseeing payroll, establishing consistent in‑store accounting controls across all locations. Strategic side: build a fully integrated financial model from scratch, lead the annual budgeting process, develop location‑level scorecards and dashboards, prepare board‑ready financial reporting. Own lender relationships, covenant compliance, the annual audit, and lead ERP selection and migration. Qualifications 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including hands‑on accounting operations Min 2 years of leadership Multi‑unit retail or consumer brand experience strongly preferred CPA preferred; ERP implementation experience required Equal opportunity employer.
