Experience: 8+ years of IT support experience required
Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365 , Windows , Active Directory , and help desk ticketing systems required
Leadership: Previous team leadership experience required; supervisory experience preferred

Our growing client is seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to lead a collaborative technical support team while ensuring exceptional service for end users across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT leader who enjoys mentoring others, improving support operations, and driving continuous technology improvements in a professional business environment.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Manager will include:

• Lead, coach, and develop the IT Support team while overseeing daily workflow, scheduling, and performance
• Provide technical support and guidance for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Oversee help desk operations , call management, and ticketing system administration
• Prepare monthly operational reports and communicate support metrics to leadership
• Collaborate with Human Resources to support new hire technology orientation and employee IT training
• Coordinate technology training initiatives and identify ongoing end-user support needs
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory
• Maintain documentation related to user accounts, access requests, and IT procedures
• Assist with computer equipment purchasing, deployment, and installation
• Build and maintain positive relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Support technology implementations, upgrades, and continuous process improvements
• Stay current with evolving technologies, policies, and best practices

Qualifications for the role of IT Support Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience required
• 8+ years of IT support experience required
• 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with Windows , Microsoft 365 , Active Directory , and help desk ticketing systems
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and solution implementation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines
• Experience developing or delivering employee technology training is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform occasional physical tasks related to workstation and equipment support
