Enterprise Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist with a background in Computer and Information Science for its Enterprise, Alabama manufacturing facility. The IT Support Specialist will provide comprehensive technical support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure. The position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to ensure seamless technology operations across the organization. The role also offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of systems, including Windows, Linux, and network environments, supporting end-users and maintaining critical IT services. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Associate Degree in Computer and Information Science3 years of Computer and Information Science support experienceStrong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN managementProficiency in operating systems such as Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server) and LinuxFamiliarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, Proxmox, and VMWareKnowledge of network segmentation, including firewalls, LANs, and endpoint protection platforms Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+, Network+ Benefits:Medical, dental, vision and life insurance401k matchVacation, sick leave, and holiday For 50 years, ENTERPRISE ELECTRONICS CORPORATION has been a turnkey solution provider of weather detection systems.
