Job Details Responsibilities: As a Transactional Real Estate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial leasing documents, including leases, amendments, renewals, and terminations. 2. Handling all aspects of transactional real estate work including due diligence, acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing. 3. Managing and coordinating real estate transaction closings. 4. Advising institutional clients on the legal aspects of real estate transactions. 5. Preparing and negotiating term sheets and purchase/sale agreements. 6. Providing legal advice on landlord and tenant-side leases. 7. Conducting thorough legal research and due diligence on various real estate matters. 8. Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals on multi-disciplinary projects. Qualifications: The successful candidate for this role will have: 1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Transactional Real Estate Attorney with a focus on commercial leasing. 3. Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar. 4. Demonstrated experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial lease agreements. 5. Proven track record of managing real estate transactions including due diligence, closing coordination, and transactional deal management. 6. Extensive experience working with institutional clients and handling landlord- and tenant-side leases. 7. Strong knowledge of real estate law and proven experience in preparing and negotiating term sheets and purchase/sale agreements. 8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. 9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 10. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Interested in hearing more?
