Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialties in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and other team members are critical. A minimum of 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage case coordination and hospice care for patients with advancing age, frailty, or serious illness.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in multiple nursing specialties such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
• Advanced certifications relevant to nursing specialties.

Special Considerations:

• May require on-call availability depending on facility needs.
• Work environment may include hospice, ICU, ER, or surgical settings.
• Must be adaptable to different patient care settings and interdisciplinary teams.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule may include day, night, or rotating shifts based on facility requirements.
• Shift assignments are determined by patient care needs and staffing availability.
