Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching License required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• High school teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Collaborative spirit for working with fellow teachers, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver engaging and accessible instruction across varied subjects and abilities
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with general education staff and support personnel to ensure comprehensive student development
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, offering updates and resources for student growth
