Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to an adult LTACH patient population (ages 18+) presenting with diagnoses including TBI/brain injuries, stroke, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and encephalopathy
• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) utilizing available equipment including a swallow chair, C-arm, and FEES equipment
• Document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans accurately within the facility's EHR systems (ProTouch, NetHealth)
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team in a 57-bed LTACH setting
• Participate in weekend coverage on an as-requested basis; no on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ASHA certification required
• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
• Demonstrated competency in MBSS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing)
• Efficient documentation and typing skills
• Experience in an LTACH or acute care setting
• Energetic, motivated team player with strong communication skills
